This tour takes you to the historic city of Patan in Gujarat, where you’ll explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Rani Ki Vav, as well as traditional textile production and a museum dedicated to the city’s culture and history. You’ll also visit the stunning Sun Temple in Modhera and the ancient Rudra Mahalaya Temple and stepwell in Sidhpur. This tour offers a unique glimpse into the rich history and culture of Gujarat.
Day 1: Arrival in Ahmedabad, transfer to Patan Upon arrival at Ahmedabad airport or railway station, you will be met by our representative and transferred to Patan. After checking into your hotel, spend the rest of the day at your leisure exploring this historic city.
Day 2: Patan Sightseeing After breakfast, enjoy a full day of sightseeing in Patan. Visit Rani Ki Vav, an intricately designed stepwell that has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the Patola Weaving Centre to see traditional textile production and visit the famous Patan Patola Heritage Museum to learn about the city’s history and culture.
Day 3: Modhera and Sidhpur Excursion After breakfast, take an excursion to Modhera and Sidhpur. Visit the Sun Temple in Modhera, a stunning example of ancient Indian architecture. Then proceed to Sidhpur to see the Rudra Mahalaya Temple and the stepwell known as the Adalaj Vav. Return to Patan for the night.
Day 4: Departure After breakfast, check out of your hotel and transfer back to Ahmedabad for your onward journey.
