Day 1: Mumbai to Ganpatipule (375 km/7 hours) Arrive in Mumbai and start your journey towards Ganpatipule, a beautiful town on the Konkan coast. En route, visit the impressive Ratnagiri fort, the ancestral home of Lokmanya Tilak, and the scenic Mandvi beach. Day 2: Ganpatipule Explore the town of Ganpatipule and its famous Ganpati temple, which is situated on a scenic beach. Visit the Malgund village, the birthplace of famous Marathi poet Keshavsut, and the Jaigad fort, which offers stunning views of the coastline. Day 3: Ganpatipule to Tarkarli (215 km/4 hours) Drive to Tarkarli, a coastal village famous for its white sand beaches and clear waters. Visit the Sindhudurg fort, which was built in the 17th century, and go snorkeling or scuba diving to explore the rich marine life of the region. Day 4: Tarkarli Spend the day at leisure in Tarkarli, sunbathing on the beach or taking a boat ride to the nearby Karli river estuary. You can also visit the nearby village of Devbag, which is famous for its sea-facing cottages and delicious seafood. Day 5: Tarkarli to Malvan (10 km/30 minutes) Drive to Malvan, a town famous for its rich history and cultural heritage. Visit the famous Rameshwar temple and the Rock Garden, a unique garden made entirely of rocks. Day 6: Malvan Explore the town of Malvan and its many historic sites, including the Sindhudurg fort and the Padmagarh fort. You can also visit the nearby Chivla beach, which is famous for its clear waters and beautiful scenery. Day 7: Malvan to Mumbai (510 km/9 hours) Drive back to Mumbai, stopping at the beautiful Vengurla beach en route. Arrive in Mumbai in the evening, and spend the night exploring the city’s many attractions.
