Day 1: Arrival in Leh
- Upon arrival in Leh, you will be met by your tour representative who will assist you with your transfer to your hotel.
- Spend the rest of the day acclimatizing to the high altitude of Ladakh.
- After breakfast, visit the Shanti Stupa, a Buddhist white-domed stupa which offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.
- Later, visit the Leh Palace, a former royal palace built by the King of Ladakh in the 17th century.
- In the evening, explore the local bazaar in Leh.
- Today, drive to Sham Valley, located on the western side of Leh.
- En route, visit the famous Magnetic Hill, where your vehicle appears to roll uphill on its own, and the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers.
- Upon arrival in Sham Valley, check into your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure.
- After breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley, located in the northernmost part of Ladakh.
- En route, visit the Khardung La Pass, one of the highest motorable roads in the world.
- Upon arrival in Nubra Valley, check into your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure.
- Today, visit the Diskit Monastery, the oldest and largest Buddhist monastery in Nubra Valley, which houses a 32-metre-tall statue of Maitreya Buddha.
- Later, visit the Hunder Sand Dunes, where you can ride a double-humped Bactrian camel.
- In the evening, return to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure.
- After breakfast, drive back to Leh.
- En route, visit the 14th century Samstanling Monastery.
- Upon arrival in Leh, check into your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure.
- Today, embark on a full-day excursion to Pangong Tso, a breathtakingly beautiful lake situated at an altitude of 4,350 meters.
- En route, visit the Chang La Pass, the third highest motorable road in the world.
- Upon arrival at Pangong Tso, check into your tented accommodation and spend the rest of the day at leisure.
- After breakfast, drive back to Leh.
- En route, visit the Hemis Monastery, the largest and wealthiest Buddhist monastery in Ladakh.
- Upon arrival in Leh, check into your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure.
- After breakfast, drive to Kargil, a historic town located on the Srinagar-Leh highway.
- En route, visit the Lamayuru Monastery, one of the oldest and largest monasteries in Ladakh.
- Upon arrival in Kargil, check into your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure.
- After breakfast, drive to Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir.
- En route, visit the Drass War Memorial, which commemorates the Indian soldiers who died during the Kargil War.
